Pterry's Scrapbook Notes

Quick Answer

Compare collected note titles with the chapter landmarks in this checklist. It covers ninety located notes; seven remain unlocated, so it is not a complete ninety-seven-note route.

Use the note titles in your collection to identify what is missing, then check the matching chapter landmark below. This checklist covers ninety located notes, not a complete ninety-seven-note route: seven notes remain unlocated in the available collection information. No hidden-room route or invented title is supplied for that gap.

Pterry's Scrapbook is the note-collection objective. Audio tapes, amber specimens, and Paleo Pal talk boxes are different categories. Finding a recording in an office does not mean you have picked up the paper on a neighboring desk. You can revisit a level through Level Select, so one missing note does not require restarting the entire story.

Use the checklist without repeating every pickup

Compare names rather than only the number of items you remember seeing. Several notes concern the same person or worksite, and their locations can be separated by a long traversal. Record the title when you collect it and use a nearby fixed landmark, such as an office, generator, or train, to distinguish similar cavern spaces.

The entries follow chapter progression. Directions involving left or right use the stated approach, not an arbitrary view after wandering around the room. When a table gives a detour, locate its anchor before attempting the turn. The full-game Steam baseline is 1.0.9; these directions do not establish platform-specific checkpoint behavior.

Chapter 1: Twelve located notes

The first note is available before leaving the car. Later museum notes often sit beside routes used for required puzzles, while the gift shop has papers in several independent side areas.

Chapter 4: Twenty-eight located notes

The final chapter's camp has many similar tents. Use the car ramp, central gated area, lift shaft, and named caverns to keep the searches distinct. Weapon-related note titles are story labels and do not imply a conventional combat loadout.

When none of the listed titles matches your missing entry

The seven unlocated notes are a real limit of this route. Do not assume every remaining gap is a pickup failure or that the last note must be hidden beside the final exit. Check the titles you already have, replay the relevant chapter for a known missing entry, and keep any genuinely unmatched gap separate from the ninety entries above.

A complete story run does not establish a complete scrapbook. Conversely, a missing achievement is not enough by itself to identify a broken collectible. Preserve your current collection state and compare actual note names before repeating an entire chapter or replacing your save.
